Welcome to Rockyview B&B, situated in the seaside village of Fanore in Co.Clare, Ireland.
It offers spectacular views of the Burren hills, Galway Bay and the Aran Islands.
The house consists of 5 bedrooms ensuite and a guest lounge/conservatory where one can read, relax and have your meals at leisure…
In the guest lounge you will find many books and maps on the area.
The proprietors Noel and Ita Walsh are keen gardeners and their vegetable garden (artificial fertilizer, herbicide and pesticide free) produce is used in the preparation of breakfast, served daily. (Special diets catered for)
A local Restaurant and nearby pub serve meals too.
Noel and Ita have a vast knowledge of the Burren area and are nature lovers and bird watchers.
We are just a few minutes walk from the start of the Black Head Walk (which connects with the “Burren Wayâ€). These walks take one up the Burren Hills and one can spend hours walking in the Karst landscape and to observe the wonderful flora of the area. An experienced guide can be arranged for these walks if required.
Other facilities in the area include: The Burren Riding School, sea angling, rock climbing, photography, painting weekends and surfing.
The beautiful beach in Fanore boasts a ‘Blue Flag' award and is ‘Life-Guard' supervised during the summer months.
Fanore is approximately 10km (7 miles) from Ballyvaughan and the famous Ailwee Caves and 20 minutes drive to Doolin village, home of traditional music.

To guarantee you a good nights sleep we do not have TV's in any of the bedrooms !

From Shannon: Take the N18 (North) to Ennis. Please take the turn-off for Ennistymon/Lahinch as you approach Ennis. Then take the N85 to Ennistymon (in the direction of the Cliffs of Moher). Drive through Ennistymon on towards Lisdoonvarna.
Outside Lisdoonvarna follow the signs for the Coast Road onto the R477.
From Doolin: Take the road North, past the church onto Ballinalackan Castle and turn left onto the R477.
In Fanore, Rockyview Farmhouse is 4 Kms from the Post Office and Pub and we have signs at the top of the road pointing to our Bed and Breakfast.
