Accommodationskeyboard_double_arrow_up
Southwyck Farm Bed and Breakfast was built in 1987 by the late Captain Carl and his wife Diana. Diana designed the house bringing architectural designs from New England. We furnished it with family antiques and quilts and comforters that Diana made. It was built to be a haven for friends and family. We entertained eight guests at a time for a week, with gourmet meals and Sporting Clays. In 1996 Diana, then a widow, decided to open her B & B. Four comfortable rooms upstairs and a sitting room, overlooking the mountains, accomodate guests. Gourmet breakfast in the morning and by arrangement a gourmet dinner can be served. We now have Grandmother's house, "The Cottage" open with three rooms and private baths, two with Jacuzzi's. In the cottage we have a living room with a cathedral ceiling opening up into the kitchen with dining area and onto a deck overlooking a formal garden. Both houses have family antiques and collections of art work from waterfowl prints, Oriental woodblocks to original ship paintings and ship models made by Diana's father. All facilities are air-conditioned. Emphasis is on leisure, comfort and being waited on. Enjoy a drink by the fireplace or on the porches during nice weather. We have added a Hot Tub, Spa, and a big deck.
