Villa Paradiso

Nestled in the beautiful setting of Lido, in the historical Malamocco area surrounded by peace and quietness, Villa Paradiso is the ideal choice for the smart traveller.

Our key word is location - Murazzi Beach is just 5 minutes walk away where you can sunbathe, jog or cycle to on bikes which we have on the premises. There are loads more other cycle tracks nearby to enjoy. The famous Lido 18-hole Golf Course is only 10 minutes by bus, while horse back riding is available just a 5-minute bus ride away.

A short stroll to the bus stop 3 minutes away will allow you to reach St. Mark's square in approximately 20 minutes by public transport.

The villa consists of a newly refurbished villa with oversized designer rooms for your total comfort, completed by en suite facilities. We have added some modern-art paintings, orthopaedic mattresses to relax your body after a hectic day in Venice and a beautiful continental buffet breakfast to satisfy your senses in the morning.

All rooms are air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter. They have colour satellite TV with remote control, direct dial telephone and they are extremely quiet.

The white and aquamarine colour pattern throughout the villa suggests a sense of freshness, peace and wellbeing. We have plenty of fruit trees in our garden and birds come and sing in the afternoon.

To facilitate our guests with a large family we have a few rooms that are interconnecting and leave plenty of room to move.

Pets are more than welcome, but they must be house-trained and must not disturb the relaxing atmosphere that the villa offers.

FROM LIDO MAIN PIER STATION (S.Maria Elisabetta):
You can either catch a taxi to Malamocco, (approx 10-minute ride) or catch the public transport bus A or B with direction Alberoni-Faro Rocchetta and get off in Malamocco centre. A 3-minute walk along Fondamenta della Madonna will take you to the entrance of Villa Paradiso.

FROM PIAZZALE ROMA (bus terminal) OR FROM THE RAILWAY STATION (S. Lucia):
You can catch the public boat number 51 or 52 direction Lido. These boats take you to the Lido main pier station in approx. 40 minutes.

FROM VENICE AIRPORT (Marco Polo):
You can catch the Alilaguna public boat service, which is in coincidence with the scheduled flights. It costs 10.00 Euro per person and takes you to the Lido main pier station in approx. 50 minutes.

IF YOU ARE COMING BY CAR:
Drive through the long bridge that connects the mainland to Venice, it is called Ponte della Liberta'. Short before the end of the bridge, on the right-hand side, there is a sign for Tronchetto, ferry boat to Lido, turn there and follow the indications that take you to the bording point and its ticket counter. The ferry-boat is also part of the public transport service and operates every 50 minutes. It corresponds to line 17.

Once you have reached the Lido, get off the ferry-boat and turn immediately on the right in Riviera S. Nicolo'. Continue straight ahead get through the Lido main pier station, and keep on going straight. In this way you are now in Via S. Gallo which is the main street that will take you to Malamocco in approx.10 minutes. A small bridge with the Malamocco sign will mark you entrance, keep on going straight, pass the big elbow curve and you will see the centre of Malamocco. Turn towards the centre and turn left at the Trattoria da Scarso. Go straight until the canal thata marks the beginning of Fondamenta della Madonna. At the end of it there is Villa Paradiso. (It is very easy to drive. You'll see.)

TICKETS: you can buy the Alilaguna tickets directly on board.
The tickets for the public service are of two different kinds:
1) Single fare = that costs Euro 3,10 per person, per fare.
2) Time tickets = that costo Euro 9,30 per person, for 24 hours or
That costs Euro 18,08 per person, for 72 hours or
That costs Euro 30,99 per person, for 7 days.

The time tickets allow an unlimited number of journeys and can be used on all ACTV transport service within the Municipality of Venice, except the Alilaguna service. There are also reductions for families.
