Plus a great central location, free all-day tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a pool table, free computers, free WiFi, a well-equipped communal kitchen ... and no hidden charges! Enjoy the complimentary breakfast of home made scones, cereal, fruit juice and toast. The beds are made up for you and towels are available to hire for �1.
Oban Backpackers Plus is in the heart of Oban, a bustling seaside town on Scotland's breath-taking west coast. As both the 'seafood capital of Scotland' and the 'gateway to the isles', Oban offers fresh, locally caught seafood and easy access to the inner and outer Hebrides. Castles, Ceilidhs, distilleries, boat trips, live music, outdoor adventures like diving and sea kayaking, some of the best views in Scotland... Oban has it all!
Oban Backpackers Plus has bunk beds in dormitory rooms, sleeping a total of 54. Our smallest room is 4 beds, and our largest is 12 beds. We also have private rooms in various configurations (singles, triples, doubles, twins etc), some with ensuite bathrooms. All accommodation has a very well-equipped shared kitchen.
All beds are made up for you with two pillows, duvet and sleep sheet. Towels are available to hire for �1 and the showers are available 24 hours.
From the centre of town, follow George Street with the sea on your left. The road forks twice; stick to the right both times, and we're just up past the Highland Cinema and Taj Mahal Indian restaurant.
