The Ballantrae Hotel is situated in the centre of Edinburgh. Two minutes walk from Princess Street with famous shopping and historical sites. The hotel is located approx 8 miles from Edinburgh airport. You can hop onto a city bus which brings you straight into Princess Street at a cost of �5.00 in30 minutes. The bus will drop you on Princes Street and Waverly Bridge. Alternatively you can take a taxi which can cost approx �15.00-�20.00.
From Waverly Train Station:
5 min walking distance from the Edinburgh Waverly train station. Come up Waverley steps from the train station onto Princess Street turn left cross over at the Pedestrian crossing and into South St Andrew Street. Walk along straight past Harvey Nichols and the Edinburgh Bus Station and at the bottom of the road cross over at the pedestrian crossing and we are on the right hand side.
