Casa dolce Casa stands in a privileged position in the heart of the historical centre of Florence: it's just a few steps from the San Lorenzo market, 5 minutes by foot to Santa Maria Novella railway station and it is very close to the main places of artistic and cultural interest of Florence (such as Brunelleschi's Dome, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi museum and Ponte Vecchio). It's also close to the cheapest market in Florence.

At your arrival, the Casa dolce casa staff will welcome you and happily show you your room and the whole house with its facilities. Upon check-in, all our guests are supplied with a personal key so that you always have free access to the apartment at any time, just like if you were at home! They'll also give you a little welcome snack and a bottle of water.

Casa dolce casa is equipped with all the comforts you could need; Wi-Fi and a laptop is at your disposal in the common room 24hrs a day, together with a 37" plasma TV screen and a smoking area.

Our rooms are all large, clean and cosy and all are equipped with colour TV, clean linen and towels.

We also offer a special twin room that has a direct access to the charming garden, where you can enjoy moments of relaxation and tranquillity in the city centre.

Moreover, you will find a Travel Agency nearby, where you can get information about the city and its surroundings (map, nice restaurants, cool pubs, places to visit, etc.).

In order to confirm your booking, we kindly ask our guests to send an email with your expected arrival time.

Very important: all our guests will receive a 'breakfast card' for each night booked; with this card you can get a discount at the affiliate bar and taste a real Italian breakfast!!

Directions

By train:
From the station of the centre 'Santa Maria Novella' to reach our structure easy to come by walking within 5 minuts. When you come out from the station, from your left side, find the street call 'Via Nazionale', also to make sure, from the first traffic light turn in to the right side to 'Via Guelfa' then from the left side first street 'Via San Zanobi'. for 50 mts go direct, and on the left you will find N° 27 'Casa dolce Casa'.

By car:
Exit from the motor way Florence North:
Follow the indication to go to centre. From 'Fortezza da Basso' , take the road 'Viale Spartaco Lavagnini'. when you find the first traffic lights turn on the right side to 'V.Santa Caterina d'Alessandria' Then you pass 50 mts, turn left to 'Via delle Ruote'. Then come untill you find 'Via Santa Reparata' and turn on the right, when you find ' Via XXVII Aprile' turn to right side and pass 50mts the first street on the left is ' Via San Zanobi'. Then 100 mts you will find on the right N°27 'Casa dolce Casa'.

Exit from the motor way Florence South:
Follow the indication to go to centre, and then find the way to ' Piazza della Libertà', and the other side of the piazza you will find 'Via Lorenzo il Magnifico enter here, at the first traffic lights turn left in Via Poliziano and go direct cross the trafic light and one big street and go to 'Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria' Then you pass 50 mts, turn left to 'Via delle Ruote'. Then come untill you find 'Via Santa Reparata' and turn on the right, go way, when you find ' Via XXVII Aprile' turn to right side and pass 50mts the first street on the left is ' Via San Zanobi'. Then 100 mts you will find on the right N°27 'Casa dolce Casa'.

From the airport:
Take the shuttle bus in front of the 'Departures'. It will take you to the central train station. You can buy tickets on the bus or at the bar of the airport and than follows the direction from the train station.

By bus (city lines):
Ataf-Sita 'Vola in Bus' service
66 frequencies a day link the airport to the city centre. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the bus station situated in front of the central railway station (S.M. Novella). Departures from airport: every 30 min from 6.00 am to 8.30 pm, after every hour till 11.30 pm Departures from city center: every 30 min from 5.30 am to 8.00 pm, after every hour till 11.00 pm. Tickets may be purchased on board (one-way ticket: €4).
