Shaoxing Youth Hostel

Shaoxing is a prefecture-level city situated in the north of Zhejiang Province. It is located on the eastern coast of China, close to Shanghai. Shaoxing is to the south of the Yangtze River and on the south bank of the Qiantang River and Hangzhou Bay. Ningbo is to its east; Taizhou to the southeast; Jinhua to the southwest; and Hangzhou to the west.

Shaoxing is only 30 kilometers from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, and 232 kilometers southwest of Shanghai.

Covering an area of 8256 square kilometers, Shaoxing has a population of 4,332,700. One district (Yuecheng District); two counties (Shaoxing and Xinchang) and three county-level cities (Shangyu; Shengzhou; and Zhuji) comprise Shaoxing prefecture.Shaoxing Youth Hostel is located in the Huanshan Road. The Fushan Park is in front of the hostel, and The Shaoxing International Friendship House is near our hostel. The style of the Shaoxing Youth Hostel is in accordance with the Shaoxing traditional building style which is simple ,ancient, quiet but soothing.

Trees, fresh air and bright sunlight, they would made you feel like you have come into the forest. Cane chairs, stone benches, wooden desks, especially those lovely Chinese lanterns which were drawn by our boss's daughter, you would felt you have been far away from the hustle and bustle when you see them..

In hostel, we have the well-appointed facilities. Such as internet bar, self-wash room, self-kitchen, full-time hot water, pub, book bar, cycle rental and so on. Our waiters are also friendly, they will afford any help if you need.

Airports:
There are over 10 domestic and international airports in Zhejiang, among which Xiaoshan International Airport in Hangzhou is the most important tourist airport.

Additionally, Shaoxing is just 280 kilometers away from Shanghai; you may also fly to Shanghai Hongqiao/Pudong International Airport and then transfer to Shaoxing by train, coach or car. You can take the airport-bus from Hangzhou airport to Shaoxing.The ticket price is 30RMB,it will take you 50 minutes to there
