The only hostel with a big conference room for students meetings and different workshops. Milingona Hostel is a lush Backpackers hostel in the heart of the old district of Tirana. The hostel is tucked next to the markets and antique bike bazaar, which is one of the quirkiest places to see and explore in Tirana.
We are a short walk to the city centre, Skanderbeg square, and to the Tirana nightlife (see our things to do page for places to see and visit near our hostel).
The hostel is a family run business with a warm atmosphere. Decorated with handmade arts and Albania antique furniture for you to relax and enjoy our space.
Staff can speak fluent English, Spanish, German, Italian, Albanian Sign Language, and some international Sign.
The old district is a great place to go explore the lively and diverse market space; which also conveniently leads onto Tiranas bike bazaar where you can pick up some amazing antiques from Albanias past.
Five to ten minutes away from the hostel is Skanderbeg square. Here you can find all the tourist attractions such as the National history museum, the National art gallery, National theatre, Opera hall, City hall, and the Tiranas oldest and enchanting Ethem Beu Mosque.
Tirana also has a hub of music geniuses, so don�t be surprised to hear of gigs happening here at the hostel. During your stay you must check Tiranas blloku district where all the live music, funky cafes, and rumbling clubs can be found.

The Hostel is located at Riza Cerova street, just of the
Rruga e Dibres street.
If you give us enough notice we�ll be happy to meet and greet you from your drop off point at Skanderbeg Square.
By foot
Starting from the national museum or Tirana international hotel, you have to walk not more than 10 to 15 minutes straight up Rruga e Dibres, the road splits, stay to the right after you have past the �Medrese school� the first
street to the right is Riza Cerova Street, on the corner you will see a traditional restaurant �Frenki�, 3 to 5 meters a small lane leading to the hostel.
You can also jump in a taxi from SkanderbegSquare, where the national museum and Tirana international hotel are located and drive to our hostel. The ride should cost 300Lek.
From Nene Tereza (Mother Teresa) airport (ca. 20 min):
The cheapest way to reach the hotel from the airport is by bus (2Euro). The bus ride is roughly 30minutes and will drop you off by the National museum, which is on the perimeter of Skanderbeg Square. For directions from Skanderbeg Square see the �How to get here� by Foot directions. Alternatively, the quickest way to the hostel is by taxi. You can easily find and barter with one of the waiting taxi drivers once you come through the arrivals bay (for 15-20Euros).
