Located between the peaceful atmosphere of the up-country mountains but far from the sea just 200 meters, the hotel has been carefully restored in 2009 from an ancient building, so it provides all the comforts of the next generation technology.
The Hotel Murmann offers a series of further services to keep our guests happy during their stay; Firstly the panoramic and romantic Roof Garden where guests can have relax admiring beautiful and stunning views.
Our guests can have at their disposal our modern outdoor pool with relaxing area and solarium where they can sip a refreshing aperitifs or taste a delightful snack prepared by our talented chef.
The Hotel Murmann offers to its guests 39 splendid and elegant rooms all refined and furnished in an exceptional and comfortable way.
The hotel offers three different types of rooms:
* Standard rooms with internal/pool view
*Superior rooms with Mountain view
* Deluxe Rooms with sea/ Cristo di Maratea view

By Plane.
The nearest airports are Naples Capodichino International Airport (185 km) and Lamezia Terme Airport (130 km).
By Train.
It is possible to reach Maratea taking the trains of the line Rome-Naples-Reggio Calabria; several trains, including Eurostars and Intercities, make several stops at Maratea Central Station, also during the summer the service is enhanced with an increase in stops. From Maratea Central Station it is possible to take the bus line SITA to reach the hotel (Fiumicello stop).
By Car. From main Highways.
From North: Take the "A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria" motorway following the direction "A3 Reggio Calabria", exit towards "North Lagonegro Maratea" ("Lagonegro Nord-Maratea"), continue on State Road 585 (SS585) 'Fondovalle del Noce" and take the State Road 18 (SS18), drive along the SS18 for about 8 km and then follow the indications to Fiumicello Santa Venere.
From South: Take the "A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria" motorway following the direction "Salerno", exit towards "Falerna", follow the indications to "Reggio Calabria - Salerno - SS18", proceed on SS18 toward Maratea, then follow the indications to Fiumicello Santa Venere.
By Boat / Hydrofoil.
"Metro del mare" Maritime Company offers hydrofoils from the port of Naples (Beverello) to the neighboring city of Sapri. Then it is possible to reach Maratea by Bus, Train ot Taxi.
