Welcome to Robins Nest . We have ten guest rooms, two with deep whirlpools for two and four are suites or apartments suitable for extended and long-term . We are adjacent to Houstons downtown mid-town, the Museum and Arts District Museum Fine Arts, Contemporary Arts, Menil, Rothko Chapel, major universities Rice, University of Houston, U . of St . Thomas, South Texas Law and the Texas Medical Center M . Anderson, Methodist, Texas Childrens . We have two breakfast services, Continental or Full Breakfast . We buy or grow fresh, whole foods . During the week breakfast is from 8 to 9 . On the weekends we kick back an hour 9 10 a . , so guests can sleep in . Montrose the Museum and Arts District is one of the few neighborhoods in Houston where one can exist blissfully without a car . Public transportation includes Metro Light Rail and or Bus system . From the airports you can take the Blue Van Shuttle . Being in the inner city, taxis are ample . Two of our apartments have private garages, the remainder have street parking . Located within walking distance of Museums, art galleries, parks, the Westheimer bar scene, and restaurants . We love and accept children and pets . We ask that they be well behaved and well attended . Why go to an impersonal court house for your wedding or holy union or try to fill a huge reception hall The rate includes the judge or minister, wedding music, a one-night complementary stay whirlpool for two, champagne and our signature chocolate covered strawberries .
