Trekking to Everest base camp, it is challenging but famous for Sherpa culture beautiful Panorama. Buddhist religion, unique Tibetan life style, typical sherpa villages where trekkers can know and experience the Sherpa culture and touch top of the world. Monasteries, Gompas, Chörtens and Mani walls which will give the sacred feeling to the trekkers. Stunning glimpse of beautiful mountains such as Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam etc.

Itinerary

Day01- Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.

Day02- Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.

Day03- Fly to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2795 meters) from Kathmandu, trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day04- Trek to Namche Bazaar (3480 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day05- Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day06- Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day07- Trek to Dingboche (4350 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day08- Day trip to Chhukung valley (4710 meters) and trek back to Dingboche. 4 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day09- Trek to Lobuche (4920 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse

Day10- Trek to Everest Base Camp (5300 meters) then back to Gorak Shep. 8 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day11- Hike up to Kalapattar (5555 meters) early in the morning then trek down to Periche (4200 meters). 7 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day12- Trek to Namche Bazaar (3480 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day13- Trek to Lukla (2795 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day14- Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning. Overnight at hotel.

Day15- Leisure day in Kathmandu Overnight at hotel.

Day16- Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.

We arrange twin sharing private room at tea houses for overnight stay which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner of your choice.

In Kathmandu, 4 nights twin sharing accommodation (2 nights pre-tour, 2 nights post-tour) at 3 start are included (inclusive of breakfast), 1 day guided city tour in Kathmandu .

Everest Base Camp - March 2013 This was our second trek with the Mountain Hawk team and it was just as well organised and fun as the first. We were in regular contact with Prem via telephone and skype during the build up to our trek. He designed the trek entirely around our schedule and the overall organisation was superb.
