Hart D Ranch is located on the Nabesna Road 1/2 mile from the junction of the Glenn Highway #!, know as the Tok Cut-Off section of the Glenn Highway . The Nabesna Road is the northern entrancse to Wrangell St. Elias National Park. It is a 26 million acre World Heritage Site and Alaska's largest Nation Park consisting of 13.2 million acres. Ranch is facing Mt. Sanford at 16,237 feet and just beyond the Park Visitors Center. On the south side of the road is the famous Copper River where it first meets the highway from its head. Fish wheels can be viewed during June and July.
