Very welcome to this natural place full of tranquility, peace and
biodiversity.
Hammocks on a balcony under a traditional roof out of palm leaves, a
lonesome sandy beach of more than three kilometers length and the
location beside the forest, a lagoon and the ocean are the perfect
combination for relaxing from daily routine.
During day and night you are surrounded by sounds of nature: The roar of
the ocean, the chirping of cicadas, the croaking of frogs and toads, the
howls and screams of monkeys, scarlet macaws, parrots, kingfishers,
herons and many other birds and mammals are waiting for you.
We offer rooms that we built and designed by ourselves and all come with
a private bathroom. Day light and fresh air enter in a natural way. We
decorated the rooms with wall paintings of animals from this area that
may help you to learn about the wildlife of the National Park. In the
evening, candles provide romantic light in the rooms. A solar panel
enables more light if you like reading in the hammocks.
We constructed the dining platform with excellent view to the ocean and
the island, where we serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner, whenever
possible including fresh products from our farm or from the area. Our
specialties are BBQ and vegetarian dishes beside recently caught fish
from here. For our guests who prefer to prepare their own meals we
provide a kitchen for their use.
In the evenings, you can enjoy beautiful sunset sceneries at a very
natural setting from our dining platform.
We are planting several fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants on our
farm, such as: plantains, pineapple, mango, yuca, papaya, coconut,
cacao, saragundÃ, gavilana and others.
There are lots of things to do around here: Check out the hiking trails,
ride along the beach on the back of our own healthy horses (arabians and
criollos), navigate on the lagoon by canoe or try your fishing luck
Additionally, we can organize following tours for you: Corcovado 1day
tour (Sirena), Corcovado overnight, snorkeling or diving in the Cano
Island reserve, bird watching, night tour, canopy tour, turtle tour
(Aug-Nov), dolphin and whale watching, cacao tour, spheres tour,
crocodile tour and the poisonous dart frog tour.
Our farm is adjacent to the little airstrip of Drake Bay with about two
daily flights from and to San Jose…

By plane: from Juan Santamaria airport by Sansa Regional service or from Tobias Bola�os air nature service. At your arrive at drake bay airport you have to take a taxi to the hotels in Agujitas, drake bay.
By Car: from anywhere in the country to Drake bay drive through the Interamericana Road to South, then take the deviation at the Chacarita gas station you continue driving to Rincon de Osa at the Bridget you take you right to drake bay.
Boat: you need to get to a place called Sierpe in a car or bus and then from there you take a boat to Drake Bay.
