La Casa del Camino Mindo is hostel located in Mindo, Ecuador. We offer bed and breakfast services as well as the local attractions. Our guests can count with professional friendly service. We speak fluent English and enjoy making our guests feel at home. The cabins are provided with linens and a complete bathroom with warm water. Our breakfast area has an open & splendid view the clouded forest and we're located 5 minutes walking distance to Mindo's downtown.
At La Casa del Camino Mindo our guests can relax and enjoy the best of nature. The property is planted with local fruit trees that attract many types of bird species such as the humming birds amongst others. We also have pond filled with water plants and frogs that offer during mating season a frog concert after sunset. The property is approximately 2000 sq meters and offers our guests the opportunity to walk and see the fruit trees as well as pick some fruit for snaking.
We have Wi-Fi access available at no extra cost to our guests and a communal sitting area where guests can enjoy relaxing, reading a book or socilize.
Tours around Mindo can be arranged at our reception as well as transportation.

At La Casa del Camino Mindo we have ecological cabins built with recycled wood and shared rooms available.
Private Cabins: Accommodate 2 or 3
-double cabin comes with a double comfortable bed with linens, towels, soap, shampooo, full bathroom w/warm water and a splendid view.
-cabin for three comes with bunk beds & single bed, all beds with linens, towels, soap, shampoo, full bathroom w/warm water and a splendid view.
-Double Rooms w/shared bathroom come with a double bed, linens, towels, soap, shampoo, shared bathroom w/warm water shower.
Restaurant service is available for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We offer continental breakfast, Mindo's typical dishes like tilapia, chicken, beef and pork, plantain in a variety of recepies and fresh fruit juices from local fruit, sodas and beer. We can also accommodate our guests if they need a personal menu.
We offer our kitchen as a communal kitchen if our guest would like to use it.
We have a parking area for vehicles inside our gated property

By car: Wether you're arriving by public or private transportation you will find that the roads are well maintained and offer a quick way to get to Mindo.
-Safe public transportation is available to and from Mindo. From Quito the public bus will cost you at the Ofelia bus station. You may visit our website for bus schedule www.exploremindo.com. When arriving by bus to Mindo, you can contact us via phone or email letting us know your date and time of arrival to Mindo and we can accommodate to meet you at Mindoi s bus station and transport you to La Casa del Camino at no additional cost.
-We can also arrange for private transportation to Mindo or any part of Ecuador (at additional cost). Please
contact us if you would like to make a reservation for private transportation.
Driving to Mindo:
From Quito you will need to take La via Occidental to Mitad del Mundo (center of the earth), from there you can follow the road Via Calacali La Independencia and pass Calacali head towards Nanegalito. Once in Nanegalito you keep on the main road and head towards Mindo, you are about 35 minutes from the main entrance to Mindo. Next point is La Y (ye) de Mindo, there will be a large bird (cock of the rock) at the entrance to your left. Turn left to enter Mindo and you will descend down a road that will take about 15 minutes before you start to see a town. Our hostel is located 1 minute before arriving to Mindo's downtown. Keep an eye out for Colegio Tecnico Ecuador, we will be right accross from the main gated entrance to this school.
