Hisa Brdo is a 200 year old house situated in a small hamlet 2km from the village of Grahovo in the picturesque Baca valley which winds its way into the Julian Alps.
Hisa Brdo is a small guest house with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The house has been renovated to a high standard in order to accomodate modern day living whilst retaining its traditional features and charm. Hisa Brdo has 3 bedrooms: 1 double room and 1 single room which share a bathroom with shower. These rooms can be closed off to create a private family suite. The 3rd room is a double ensuite with shower which can also be a twin or triple room if required. This room has a balcony with access to the upper terrace.
Breakfast is optional and is served in the dining room.

The area and local activities:
Hisa Brdo basks in the sunlight on a terrace above the Baca Valley surrounded by the natural beauty of this area where the Mediterranean meets the Alpine climate, making it an ideal destination for those who love mountain flora.
This area is steeped in history from the 1st and 2nd World Wars, there are many local walks where you can explore bunkers and visit monuments. You can visit Slovenia's widest tree in the nearby village of Rut.
You can almost step out of the front door and go walking, fly fishing and mountain biking. Paragliding, canyoning, white water rafting and canoeing are all possible in the local area.
However you choose to spend your time, you are guaranteed to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, flora and fauna of this beautiful area.

Directions from Tolmin:
Drive out of Tolmin on the 102 (direction Most na Soci)
Continue forward until you reach T-junction at Most na Soci
Turn left at T-junction (still on 102)
Continue forward for approximately 2km
Turn left at Baca pri Modrej onto the 403 (direction Podbrdo)
Continue forward passing through Klavze and kneza
Approximately 1.5 km after Kneza you will see a bus stop on your left side, Hisa Brdo is the 2nd house on the right after the bus stop.
