Enjoy an authentic eco-holiday on our solar powered organic farm in rural north Bulgaria. We offer family friendly bed and breakfast, rental of our eco-friendly self catering cottage and workshop retreats.
There are farm skills workshops covering everything from organic animal rearing to making goati s cheese. We also run yoga and reiki holidays, artist retreats and archaeological tours.
Help out on the farm feeding the animals, milking and collecting eggs or simply relax in the hammock.
We have restored a traditional village house using natural materials. The cottage accommodates up to 8 people in 2 doubles, 1 twin and a sofa bed in the living room. The downstairs comprises an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room while upstairs, 3 airy rooms and a library lead off a wooden balcony.
One of the barns has been converted to an outdoor living space. You can shelter under the old walnut tree while cooking a BBQ.
Eco features include solar power, solar thermal water, odorless compost toilet and grey water recycling. In this natural setting, you can relax on our beautiful wooden verandah or in a hammock under the walnut tree.
For bed and breakfast, a healthy breakfast made from farm produce is served on the terrace. We can also arrange a professionally cooked Indian, Thai or Chinese meal.
Among peaceful surroundings, why not book in for a Reiki session. Reiki promotes relaxation, healing and well being.
We can arrange a film screening at our garden cinema. Internet access is also available.

Directions
From Ruse, follow the E70 towards Razgrad. Before Razgrad, follow the sign pointing right to Popovo. From Veliko Turnovo, follow the E772 towards Varna. Past the sign for Antonovo, there is a petrol station. Just past this, there is a sign to the left for Popovo. Popovo is located on the E83, one of the main routes between Sofia and Varna. From Popovo, follow the road to Opaka for 3km. There is a sign to Palamartsa pointing to the left. A 5km road leads to the village. When booked we will send directions to the house.
