Hostel Alieti is located in one of historic old houses right in the historic center, close to the sea.
We offer 25 beds in small dormitories on three floors. Mixed dorms on the first and second floor have 4 or 6 beds (bunk beds). The 5-beds dorm in the loft has lower ceiling (also air-con) but a pleasant atmosphere.
Two bathrooms are situated on the first and second floor. You will find a reception and a common area with a kitchenette on the ground floor.
We serve free breakfast (croissant, coffee/tea, juice), and offer free WLAN. The entire house is air conditioned and heated in winter.

From the roundabout in the city center (close to the bus station and post office) go along sea promenade (Soncno nabrezje) till you reach the church of Maria Alietska. Behind it is the main square Trg Manzioli. To find hostel Alieti take the street in the right upper corner of the square and then turn left in Dvoriscna ulica.
- Car
Hostel Alieti is located in the historical center so it can only be reached on foot, but there are several (payable) parking lots in the range from 300 m - 1500 m.
- Bus
There is a 5 minute walk (500 m) to Hostel Alieti from Izola bus station. Local bus service connects Koper-Izola-Piran-Portoroz every half-hour on weekdays and every 40 minutes at the weekend. Koper is well connected with other Slovene towns, on weekdays with Triest in Italy (3 EUR, one hour, 23 km, up to 13 a day) and with some Croatian towns (Rijeka, Rovinj, PoreÄÂ).
- Train
There is a train station in Koper. You can catch a bus to Izola or go with taxi. Koper rail line linking Ljubljana (2 ½ hours) via Postojna and Divaca. To get to Buzet and Pula in Croatia from Koper, you must change at Herpelje-Kozina. (www.slo-zeleznice.si)
