Wildcoast Orca Base Camp is a wilderness camp second to none and the best place to see killer whales. Located next to a flowing glacial stream and equipped with spacious safari tents with sleeping cots, the rambling rocky beach provides spectacular whale watching right at camp! Explore the camp trails up to higher view points, over to private nooks by the stream, and into the rainforest to view ancient cedars. Every day you will paddle waters deemed a critical habitat for both resident (fish-eating) and transient (mammal-eating) Orca pods who spend their summers in and around the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve in Johnstone Strait.

On the first day you take the journey by water-taxi up the Inside Passage enjoying the mountain views and having opportunities to see nature before we even reach camp: bald eagles, bears, seals, sea lions, humpback whales, or porpoises all call this area their home. Everyday, you will kayak, explore trails and participate in wilderness activities such as native sauna. After enjoying scrumptious meals focused on local ingredients throughout the day your evening will be capped off with the crackle of fire set to a dramatic sunsets Orca Camp provides.

All menus have been designed by our gourmet chef and are focused on local ingredients. Vegan & vegetarian meals are also available.
