A warm welcome awaits you at this charming 17th century William and Mary house. The House is privately owned and managed ensuring that you will be given the most attentive service to the finest detail. This is truly a fairytale setting which exudes atmosphere. This versatile Venue, where country hospitality meets style and elegance with a fusion of traditional and modern flair, has to be experienced.

An impressive new entrance lobby and reception hall has been opened since April 2010. Corinthian columns and a paved exterior approach give way to an automatic glass door into the large lobby. This area has marble tiles, lofty ceilings with brass chandeliers and armchair seating areas. The main feature is the 1860's original Victorian fireplace of superior walnut in a neo-classical style with engaged three quarter Corinthian columns agapanthus and egg and dart carving surround the fireplace. Steps or, if required, a lift - take the guest up into the reception hall and the new walnut check-in/reception desk where our staff are pleased to assist you. This area joins seamlessly onto the original part of the house. The original 17th century entrance still remains for the tradionalists amongst you.

Bedroom Accommodation. This magnificent House has been carefully restored by the current owner and now caters to the visitor with 9 luxury en-suite bedrooms in the main house. These have splendid views of the adjoining countryside and 6 of the rooms retain many of the original features of House. One room features a stately 4-poster bed and 1 of the rooms features a half-tester bed. They have been furnished in the style of a 17th century house but with modern conveniences provided such as tea making facilities, TV and telephone!

A further 10 ensuite rooms are available in the New Wing and these are naturally in a more modern style but complementing the period of the House. The new wing has tea/coffee making facilities, BT broadband wireless connections and the rooms are fitted with trouser press/ironing boards and flat screen TV's.

Since the change of status from 3-star guest house to hotel we are awaiting accreditation from NITB but have been awarded 3-star accreditation from AA.
