A landscape rich in History : ______________________________ Stronlossit Hotel is situated in an enviable position some 10 miles from Fort William with outstanding views of the Nevis Range of mountains. The Hotel is surrounded by some of Scotlands most delightful scenery, a dozen of the nearby mountains rise to over 3,000 ft - Ben Nevis is only a few miles away. And the first of the Great Glens spectacular lochs is just a short distance from our doorstep. The landscape is steeped in history and romance, and offers some of the most wild, remote and rugged scenery in the west Highlands. The traveller is taken on journeys of geological discovery, historical treasures, wildlife encounters, set amidst the flora and fauna of the west highlands - a sense of open space, laced with fast flowing rivers and deep lochs.
Open throughout the year, this is a friendly, comfortable country Inn. Stronlossit is family owned and run, and offers traditional Scottish hospitality with a warm welcome, fine food and accommodation. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished. And in the Jacobean Lounge Bar you can enjoy a full meal or a light snack. ( We also have an impressive range of Scotch whiskies and a well stocked wine cellar.) The Restaurant offers an a la carte menu at competitive prices. Delicious highland fare is the order of the day. The home cooked meals use fresh ingredients from the Scottish larder and are a fine example of the Scottish Country Inn at its best... haggis, neeps and tatties, a sizzling platter of the finest Aberdeen Angus Steak and fresh salmon are tempting choices on the menu.
