Cantarana bounds three of the most famous for their wines zones of Piedmont: Monferrato, Astigiano and Langhe and therefore it appears to be the ideal starting point to discover all of them.
The Arch room has been made out of a part of the old hayloft, keeping intact the structural detail of the arch. The ceiling has been made with wooden planks to emphasize the rustic charm of the farmhouse. The Breakfast Room The old shed, once restored keeping unchanged the structure and recovered the details like the vaulted ceiling , changed into this comfortable and cosy breakfast room.
From Torino: Take the southern by-pass road , direction Piacenza, and at the entrance gate of the Torino-Piacenza motorway, keep the right and exit at Villanova d'Asti, prosecute on the main road called SS.10 towards Asti for approx. 10 kms, at Villafranca d'Asti follow direction "Ferrere" turning on the right, prosecute for 1 km then turn left to Cantarana. Right after the Pizzeria, turn on the right following direction "Acquedotto della Bonoma/Torrazzo" (approx 2 kms) . At the junction for Torrazzo prosecute until the second house on the left (B&B signs will help you). From Asti: On the A-21 Torino-Piacenza motorway, exit at the gate "Asti Ovest", turn right towards Torino. Follow the main road called SS10 Asti-Torino for about 10 kms till you will see the sign "Cantarana". Turn to left and prosecute for 2 kms; passed the village centre turn to left again following direction "Acquedotto della Bonoma/Torrazzo" (approx 2 kms) . At the junction for Torrazzo prosecute until the second house on the left (B&B signs will help you).
