Volare-means 'I will Fly' (#1/24) Volare has wings spread over the large deck, perched like an eagle taking off over the Turrialba Valley.
The hot tub - well, the big bathtub (#2/24) Each time you use the tub you fill it with fresh hot water. So no chlorine or chemicals. Regulate the temperature with your toes as you add water, hot or cold.
From upstairs, view of the valley (#3/24) Volare is almost half glass, because there's almost no direction without spectacular vistas. Below the deck are rain forest, fields of coffee, sugar cane, and small villages. Across the valley are the Talamanca mountain range. And every day the views change -- at sunrise, at sunset, as the clopuds drop and roll in
Massage on your deck (#4/24) Each bedroom has a private deck, idea for daytime massages. Or in the evenings, a massage in your room -- then slip into the hot tub.
Dinner on the deck overlooking Turrialba city (#5/24) With fireplace to warm you in the cool, crisp evening air. Night time temperatures average about 63 F.
Volare from the drveway (#6/24) As yo approach the house ou can see the hot tub, 30 feet above the ground on the water tower, connected to the deck with a suspension bridge.
The Pacuare River - Costa Rica's famous adventure (#7/24) The Pacuare is what made adventure famous in Costa Rica. Operators depart for the river only 10 minutes below Volare. We specialize in private rafting trips - more expensive, but well worth the difference.
Nearby waterfall for swimming (#8/24) Pure water, clear natural pools, deep enough for swimming. And no tourists!
Adventure Canyoning (#9/24) Rocks and ropes, waterfalls and dangling in the air. Canyoning is way better than a canopy zip line tour -- and only 10 minutes from Volare
Upstairs bedroom (#10/24) With queen size bed. There's a fireman's pole you can descent -- right off the balcony. Just for fun.

For fun - descend the Fireman's Pole (#16/24) From the master bedroom you can make a fast exit with the fireman's pole. The pole was added after the house was built - just for the challenge. Hey, it looks easy, and it is -- but the first time down is pure terror. Kids will wear themselves out climbing the stairs to go down over and over -- the record is 82 descents in one day.
Volare living/dining area (#17/24) The living, cooking and eating space is combined for an excellent social area centered around good eating.
Clouds rising from valley (#18/24) Clouds drop into the valley at sunset when the temperatures drop, then rise again in the morning. The tops of the clouds touch the deck as they pass to above us... it will be a beautiful day today.
