Il Carmine

Il Carmine is located on the top of Mount Erice, and it is an oasis of peace completely compatible with the history and the characteristics of the medieval town of Erice. It was a Monastery of Carmelitani friars but now thanks to a reconversion work our guests can stay in very comfortable rooms.

All our rooms are equipped with the following comforts:

From our hotel it is possible to visit all the medieval town of Erice with its several old churches, and its amazing monuments and atmosphere on foot.

From 1st of September 2012, The Municipality of Erice established the introduction of a Tourist Tax, by resolution of Municipality Council on 26.07.2012 N. 64. The tax applies only to the nights that non-residents will spend in the town of Erice and for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights.
The tax amounts at Eur 1,50 per person/per night.

Directions

From Palermo/Palermo airport (Punta Raisi � Falcone Borsellino):
- Take A29 Motorway towards Trapani (exit Trapani);
- at the roundabout turn right towards Erice for about 600 mt;
- at the crossroad go straight on into Strada Provinciale Torrebianca for about 1,7 Km;
- at the STOP sign turn right into SS187 towards Valderice and continue for about 4 Km;
- turn left into Via Sabaudia and continue for 400 mt;
- at the STOP sign turn right into Via Erice and continue for about 6,
