La Toraia is located within the Tenuta La Fratta, a historic estate in the Val di Chiana, Tuscany. The first buildings date back to the Twelfth Century and in 1520 were redesigned under the direction of Baldassarre Peruzzi, who created, among others, the building of the villa and the the Church of the village that is still keeping a fresco by Sodoma, the Renaissance painter.
The Toraia includes a restaurant called 'a tasting centre of Chianina beef in the area of origin', whose philosophy is to offer the meat of the estate farms, using only certified organic fodder.
On the first floor of the building there are the three rooms, very spacious and elegant. Recently renovated, they can accommodate up to a total of eight people (one additional bed available upon request). They are equipped with air conditioning, internet wi-fi and private bathroom with shower. Breakfast is served in the restaurant room on the ground floor or in the courtyard adjacent.
A short distance away, in the grounds of Tenuta La Fratta, guests have access to a large swimming pool set in the countryside.

From the highway A1:
take the exit Valdichiana. At the first ring turn left towards Bettolle. After about 400/550 meters turn right and take the provincial road n. 63.
Go straight and then after about 4 kms, at the ring take the road on the left (Via Molinara) towards Torrita S./Montepulciano/Chianciano T.
Then turn left on the road SS326 and go on for about 3 kms.
Then turn again immediately on the left and you will see La Toraia in front of you.
